Compensation Range:

Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $47.88 - $71.23 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience. *12 hour shifts at Huntington Health are overtime-based (not a straight time rate for all 12 hours). Therefore, employees who work a full 12-hour shift will be paid their base rate for 8 hours AND overtime (1.5) for hours up to 12.

Expectations:

The ADT Nurse (admission, discharge, and transfer) is a registered nurse who demonstrates clinical expertise through advanced education and/or experience, knowledge and skills in area of practice and clinical nursing specialization. The ADT Nurse provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). The ADT Nurse works closely with the departure lounge staff, administrative supervisor, and (patient flow and throughput coordinator) to deliver patient care, and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with nursing standards of care, and practice patient care consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of Huntington Hospital.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program required.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Two years of professional nursing experience on a variety of medical, surgical and step down units, required. administrative/supervisory experience preferred.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:

Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)
Current Advanced Cardiovasacular Life Support (ACLS) Provider issued by American Heart Association
Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association

Preferred:

Board Certification in Critical Care, Med-surg or any ANA (American Nurses Association) recognized professional nursing certification preferred.

SKILLS:
Care of the patient requiring vasoactive drip medications.
Exemplary communication and problem solving skills.
Ability to manage activities and multiple priorities within complex systems.
Ability to efficiently and effectively leverage resources to meet diverse patient needs.
