Quality Inspection Supervisor

Job Purpose:

This position will be responsible for supervising day to day operations and work flow through the Electrical Test and Quality Control departments to hit production / OTD shipments, coordinating and supporting 3rd party Source Inspections to meet production schedule demands, and training new hire quality inspectors to support effective inspection to IPC and applicable customer standards.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manages WIP production through Electrical Test and Quality Control to support OTD demands.
• Coordinates between Production Control and Quality Organization to ensure planned Quality Deliverable activities and 3rd party Source Inspection are completed to supporteffective OTD demand.
• Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed.
• Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records.
• Maintains working knowledge of applicable industry and IPC specifications including Certified Trainer status for IPC-A-600 Acceptability of Printed Circuit Boards.
• Assures compliance to in-house and or external specifications and standards, ISO, AS9100, customer and Assembly regulations.
• Participates in Continuous Quality Improvement Initiatives and teams.
• Fosters a "can do" team environment in the Electrical Test and Quality Control departments.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or higher level of education.
• 5+ years in the Printed Circuit Board Manufacturing Environment.
• 3+ years directly supervising a team of people.
• Open-minded self starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve, as well manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Salary Range (annual): $77,000 - $85,000. Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
