The Opportunity: Embry- Riddle's Flight Department is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Airman Certification Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of training records in accordance with FAA and University standards, as outlined in FAR Part 141. The ideal candidate will assume direct responsibility for maintaining and reviewing training documentation for up to 2000 flight students annually. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all training records meet FAR Part 141 requirements, including the review and verification of course completion documents. Review signed course completion forms, course SP details, Flight Data & Certification worksheets, Ground School attendance & test grades, FAA written test results, medical certificates, and superseded pilot certificates. Verify acceptable forms of identification, including picture IDs, and assess grade computations. Manage additional documentation such as visas, I-20 forms, FAA AFS-760 verification letters, transfer credits, re-enrollment forms, and ground training status forms. Collaborate with FD&C Analysts to ensure accuracy and completeness of all student documentation. Maintain up-to-date student records throughout their academic careers, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations. Interact directly with students to ensure proper documentation is on file at all stages of their training. Issue Airman certificates in accordance with regulatory standards. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
- Able to be designated as a school ACR by the FAA which requires a Commercial Pilot License, and CFI
- 3-5 years of Administrative, Data Entry, Customer Service experience
- Technical Expertise with Microsoft Operating Systems: Access, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
- Experience with ETA, Workflow, and Internet end-user applications (preferred)
