Responsibilities

The SAFe Agile Scrum Master must be able to lead and coordinate the team's activities in the successful delivery of working software products through an incremental approach. They are responsible for removing impediments (whether them or a team member) and championing the SAFe methodology (ceremonies and workflow). Support the team during Program Increment Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Implement and continually improve SAFe Agile practices. Facilitate positive team dynamics to help maximize team performance.

Responsibilities:

    Facilitate the Scrum Team's day-to-day activities
  • Servant leader to help maximize team efficiency
  • Help the Product Owner prepare the backlog, improve velocity, and ensure important Scrum artifacts are prepared
  • Maintain project metrics, milestones, and deliverables
  • Help the Team adopt agile methodology and leads process improvements


Qualifications

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required
  • BA/BS and 8+ years of experience; Masters and 6+ years; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated experience as a SAFe Agile Scrum Master in IT
  • Demonstrated experience leading Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, PI Planning, and Retrospectives
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, PMI-ACP, or SAFe)
  • 1 year Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience
  • Some experience with Jira and/or Microsoft DevOps
  • Experience on a Team developing software in the Federal Government (you do not need to be a developer)

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
