Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP Service Manager who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Portfolio & Project Management Project Stakeholder Management Project Scope Management and Program - Resource Management. Additionally experience in Health & Safety (EHS) and Production Planning & Control in Industrial Manufacturing is required. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

* Lead the planning and implementation of projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.

* Oversee project scope ensuring all deliverables are met within the defined parameters.

* Provide expert guidance on Portfolio & Project Management to optimize resource allocation and project prioritization.

* Manage stakeholder relationships ensuring clear communication and alignment of project objectives.

* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of project plans.

* Monitor project progress and performance implementing corrective actions as necessary.

* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety (EHS) standards throughout project execution.

* Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans status reports and risk management plans.

* Facilitate project meetings ensuring effective communication and decision-making.

* Utilize Production Planning & Control techniques to streamline project workflows and improve efficiency.

* Implement best practices in Program

* Resource Management to maximize team productivity and project outcomes.

* Provide training and support to team members on project management methodologies and tools.

* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

* Possess strong expertise in Portfolio & Project Management ensuring effective project execution.

* Demonstrate proficiency in Project Stakeholder Management, fostering positive relationships and clear communication.

* Have solid experience in Project Scope Management ensuring all project deliverables are met.

* Exhibit strong skills in Program

* Resource Management optimizing resource allocation and team productivity.

* Have a deep understanding of Health & Safety (EHS) standards and their application in project management.

* Show experience in Production Planning & Control within the Industrial Manufacturing domain.

* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholder relationships.

* Demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

* Have a proven track record of successful project delivery within defined scope time and budget constraints.

* Exhibit strong problem-solving skills to address project challenges and implement effective solutions.

* Show proficiency in project management tools and software to streamline project workflows.

* Have the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model balancing remote and on-site responsibilities.

* Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.

Certifications Required

PMP (Project Management Professional) PRINCE2 Certified Health and Safety Manager (CHSM)

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 04/03/2025

The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 USD - $152,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
