Waste Connections, Inc. is Hiring a PM Technician.

We have an immediate opening for a high-energy PM Technician to join our team at the Opa Locka, FLfacility. Previous waste experience is a huge plus!

This position is night shift, from 2 PM - 12 AM, Monday to Friday, with every other Saturday.

Pay Range is $23/hr. DOE

Responsibilities Include:

• Performs repairs and assignedpreventive maintenanceservices. Performs inspections, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.

• Utilizes vehicle computerelectronicssystems to interpretfailure modesto initiate or assign repairs.

• Conductssafetychecks on vehicles and equipment.

• Completes requiredpaperworkutilizingfleet maintenancesoftware program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.

• Reviews, completes or assigns repairs identified on DriverVehicle InspectionReports.

• Performsmaintenancerelated work as required.

• Maintains a clean, safe work area incompliancewith corporate and OSHA standards.

• Performs all work in accordance with establishedsafetyprocedures.

• Ability to effectively communicateneeded repairs or tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 1 year experience in heavy truckequipment maintenanceand repair; or completion of accredited vocationaltechnical school programs

• Class C (regular driver's license) required

• Provide personal tools.

• Proficiency in vehicle and equipment diagnosis and repair.

• Ability to read and comprehend service andtechnical information.
