We're hiring a Terminal Commercial Manager to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth in our terminal portfolios. The Commercial Manager will focus on develping opportunities for growth, maintaining client relationships, and developing action plans to improve performance.

  • Identifying customer needs

  • Knowing customers and anticipating needs, including identifying terminal projects to be considered

  • Upselling and expanding current offerings

  • Targeting offerings to customer needs

  • Ensuring a superior customer experience

  • Assigning and recognizing customer ownership

  • Assessing each customer's value and prioritize

  • Maintain deal flow for potential new customers, including conducting market analysis

  • Managing obligation requirements

  • Negotiating contracts

  • Lead net margin calculation for Terminals business unit

  • Standardize terminals commercialization

  • Assist in due diligence for potential new acquisitions

  • Act as liaison between scheduling and customers

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in commercial or business development experience in the midstream/downstream energy sector.

  • Strong at building and maintaining relationships and networks within industry and internal stakeholders

  • Knowledge of creative deal structures and commercial acumen

  • Basic financial acumen

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

  • Extensive experience in customer-facing positions in the industry

  • Effective across multiple mediums of communication (face-to-face, email, phone, video calls)

  • Strong strategic thinking skills

  • Understanding of differences in risk between large vs. small scale deals

Education Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, engineering or related field required

  • Master's degree in business (MBA) preferred
