Description Lead a dynamic team on the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology unit at UCLA Mattel's Children's hospital. As an APP supervisor on this service, you can make a difference in our patient and families lives. The APP Supervisor willbe responsible for developing a new team of APP providers thatwill provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The APP also participates in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals. Salary range: $140,200- $331,800/annually Qualifications Degree in PA program-required CA PA License- required BLS Certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association-required PALS Certification from American Heart Association-required National Board Certification as PA-required NPI#,DEA#, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES-required 5 years clinical experience as an inpatient pediatric hematology/oncology APP - required 2 years leadership experience -preferred Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs-required Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-required Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction-required Ability to set priorities-required Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-required Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner-required
