Position Summary

The LTC Field Representative is responsible for driving sales to long-term care facilities. The rep will develop strategic partnerships with medical directors, consultant pharmacists, facility administrators, and directors of nursing to optimize medication usage, ensure patient safety, and improve overall healthcare outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to increase product adoption in LTC facilities.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets through direct engagement with key decision-makers.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with consultant pharmacists, medical directors, facility administrators, and nursing leadership.
  • Work closely with pharmacy services providers, including long-term care pharmacies, to ensure seamless medication distribution and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date on pharmaceutical products, including indications, dosing, interactions, and contraindications.
  • Maintain knowledge of Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and insurance reimbursement policies impacting LTC facilities.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and national/regional conferences to stay updated on company products and industry trends.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and reimbursement policies affecting LTC settings.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and pharmaceutical regulations

Role Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience required
  • A record of consistent top performance
  • Experienced working with multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment
  • Strong technical skills and computer proficiency
  • Ability to travel 50% - 60% of the time
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Ability to work with HCPs at various levels in an engaging manner
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly collaborative and a relationships cultivator
  • Ability to proactively identify potential challenges and find effective solutions
  • Collaborative able to align strategies and resources to achieve sales objective
  • Drive for results and self-motivated with high level of initiative
  • Customer focused committed to understanding and addressing the needs of long-term care facilities and their residents

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Account management experience
  • Experience in long-term care preferred
  • Experience with virtual sales calls

Salary Expectations:

Employees can expect to be paid a salary of approximately $90K - $98K. The salary rage displayed may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, certain degrees, certifications, and other relevant factors.
