  • The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining deep customer relationships to drive account revenue retention and growth. By collaborating with internal partners, the Account Manager delivers exceptional service and a valuable solution. The position will lead a defined book of business aligned by customer segment within a geography and will be accountable for the commercial close of all deals. You will also open up larger solution opportunities and introduce Solution and Proposition Sales!

    Role Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate deep understanding of the customer decision maker's strategies, priorities and needs
    • Maintain solid understanding of Refinitiv propositions to initiate conversations and raise interest
    • Build and embed a long term trusted advisor relationship within their accounts
    • Drive growth by expanding Refinitiv footprint within their accounts
    • Focus on maintaining overall customer engagement and expanding and retaining managed net revenue
    • Coordinate all commercial activities within accounts, owning the end to end customer relationship
    • Drive efficiency in account administration (especially for lower value and growth potential accounts)
    • Manage internal and external partners and maintain networks to negotiate and close deals
    • All Account Managers in Emerging and Growth are responsible for revenue retention (primarily), sales, and administration of their accounts

    Qualifications and Experience Required:

    • Strong understanding of customers and their business model and workflows
    • 5 years demonstrated ability with a consistent record of success
    • Industry experience within the customer segment
    • Strong product knowledge
    • Relationship building skills
    • Selling skills (identity, develop and articulate a sophisticated proposition/consultative selling)
    • Strong ability to influence clients
    • Strong collaboration skills, ability to develop and implement a sales plan, ability to use a variety of technology with a high level of proficiency
    • Problem solving--ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve client issues
    • Presentation and interpersonal skills: ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all levels within an organization
    • Ability to collaborate with account team
    • Experience hunting for new business opportunities to grow the revenue
    • Strategic prospecting with creative outreach techniques
    • Proven account management, sales or marketing experience in a customer facing environment required
    • Customer relationship management required throughout all levels within an organization
  • Scope of Impact :
    * Leads significant projects, programs and business initiatives, demonstrating creativity and resourcefulness
    * Determines work priorities based on general direction from managers
    * May handle budget for projects or programs within area
    * Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts and Business Unit strategy
    * Provides specialist advice to middle and senior management to resolve complex issues.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $0 - $0. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
