Where you will work: This position offers a hybrid work option (up to 50%/40%/etc. remote) and is based out of the Mankato, Rochester or Lakeville location(s). The contributions you will make: This position provides communications support for internal communications projects in an effort to keep team members informed, engaged and aligned with organizational goals and initiatives. The incumbent will work with the Corporate Communications team and other departments to craft and distribute clear, consistent messaging across various internal channels, in alignment with overall organizational objectives. A typical day: Communications Support
- Provides clear communications for basic issues and topics.
- Develops content for internal audiences including articles, videos, presentation materials, infographics and emails.
- Partners with other departments to create internal communication plans and ensures the effective use of internal channels, including the intranet, email, meeting resources, message boards and digital tools.
- Works closely with the Executive Administration team to schedule and manage logistics for internal communication opportunities (e.g. Town Halls, Coffee Chats, Wagner Watch, Leveling Up Leaders).
- Provides support to internal teams with video requests, including recording, editing and finalizing footage.
- Manages the social media presence for members of the Executive Team. Connects, shares and posts to increase social brand presence for these leaders.
- Supports external communication projects, as needed.
Special Projects and Events
- Provides logistical support for internal events, including scheduling and coordination of vendors, budgets, materials and resources.
- Collaborates with different departments, including Executive Administration, Human Resources, leadership teams and project managers to gather information and ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
The skills and experience we prefer you have:
- Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
- One to three years of communications experience, preferred.
- Basic knowledge of communication strategy and planning.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, including interviewing, writing, editing and proofreading.
- Ability to adhere to communication guidelines and best practices.
- Basic knowledge of digital communication, including photography, video production and social media.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with video, photo and graphic design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
How we will take care of you: Our job titles may span more than one career level (associate, senior, principal, etc.). The actual title and base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for variable compensation and other benefits.
Base Pay $56,400 - $72,100 USD
