RN - Adult Psychiatry
Overview As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) at Presbyterian Hospital, you'll be part of a dedicated behavioral health team. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. You'll also provide education and support to patients' families, ensuring they understand treatment plans and care procedures as well as for utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Responsible for prioritizing the delivery of direct nursing care using time and resources efficiently integrating a standards-based framework model. Associate Degree in Nursing
Responsibilities Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken and patient responses.
