Job Description:
Join our dynamic team in Brillion, WI and lead the charge in managing credit-related functions! You'll evaluate credit decisions, research financial data, and determine credit risk levels to establish customer credit lines. By studying industry trends, contacting various sources for credit information, and managing complex credit risks, you'll ensure our company's financial stability. You'll also oversee collections, negotiate with finance companies, and maintain positive relationships with customers. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to implement process improvements and manage special projects. Evaluate credit and make the appropriate decisions Research financial variables and multifaceted data; evaluate results of credit investigations; document and/or report findings Determine credit risk level; establish credit lines for customer accounts based on research and analysis of critical date Study economic trends in our industry to predict the probable success of a new customer Contact banks, trade & credit associations, salespeople, provided references, and other sources to obtain decision-able credit information Approve, hold, or deny customer orders and transfers based on the current and historical status of the customer's account Manage credit risks or situations that may be of a more complex nature; analyze all necessary information and determine best outcome, keeping the company's risk threshold in mind Manage collections & account receivable balances, executing against plan to meet established targets Evaluate credit-worthiness of new dealer prospects and ensure compliance of all necessary documentation to activate new accounts Negotiate with external finance companies to assign new dealers and credit limits Research fair dealer termination and buyback laws as it pertains to the termination of dealer accounts, utilizing attorneys as needed to ensure compliance and counsel sales team on findings Assign/revise appropriate credit exposures to dealers, based on several factors such as payment history, tenure of relationship, capacity of past payments, etc. Coordinate terms for seasonal plans with other internal departments and external finance companies Maintain positive relationships and open/honest communication with external and internal customers Work with outside collection agents and/or attorneys when appropriate; Interface with external finance companies, daily Initiate and implement process improvement initiatives, resulting in departmental cost savings Manage special projects as assigned
THE QUALIFICATIONS...
A Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or business administration required A minimum of 5 years related experience is required Experience with "Floorplan" and consumer credit is desirable
