Job Details

Primary Function:
The occupational therapist performs evaluation and treatment of patients/residents upon referral to relieve pain, prevent
disability, develop and improve skills and restore function. This position requires providing service to the following age
population(s) adolescents, adult, older adult, frail elderly in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. The TRS occupational therapist is required to move between
programs and sites for coverage needs.

Job Description

Education/Training/Experience:

Doctor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Science or Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapy Program. CPR certification required via AHA.

Licenses/Certifications:

Pennsylvania licensure in Occupational Therapy required. Certification is available from NBCOT. Certification is

required for specific service areas, as specified by the Administrator for Campus Therapies, Program Director or Manager. Candidates are required to have a minimum of 2 years experience in at least 2 of the different treatment

settings.
