Job Purpose

This Director of Sales, Asia Pacific (APAC) Business Development is responsible for analyzing growth revenue opportunities and developing the HondaJet dealer network across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Selling Hondajets in assigned territories including managing ASR and dealer relationships
  2. Developing owner and prospective customer relationships to manage new aircraft and pre-owned aircraft sales opportunity pipeline
  3. Creating deal and market analysis and proposals for senior management review and decision.
  4. Organizing and participating in senior management site visits prior to selection.
  5. Traveling to attend regional and national marketing events, visit dealer locations, and meet with prospective customers within an assigned region
  6. Developing market forecasts for the region and presenting metrics to senior management.
  7. Provide response to sales inquiries and new dealer inquiries.
  8. Following up on direct sales opportunities as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Bachelor's required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  2. 5-10 years of experience in business development or sales involvement within an assigned region is required; Previous experience with an emphasis on business aircraft preferred.
  3. Previous dealer channel management experience preferred; Dealer channel management within the APAC region highly preferred.
  4. Previous aircraft sales experience preferred.
  5. Turbine pilot experience preferred, Hondajet experience preferred

Working Conditions

  1. Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.
  2. Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, climb ladders, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
  3. Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).
  4. Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
  5. Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.
  6. Effectively communicate in Business English language.
  7. Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.
  8. Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided "reach assistance technology" or "movement assist technology" (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly's, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties.
