This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with staff, faculty, and community stakeholders to deliver engaging, high-quality STEM experiences for local youth. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. Responsibilities Coordinate planning and implementation of STEM outreach events, including 4-H STEM day camp Assist in advertising STEM events Develop outreach project for Carbon County Fair Facilitate the formation of a STEM Ambassador program Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma required Previous experience working with youth and/or youth-serving programs Ability to work with diverse and underserved audiences Self-motivated and able to complete a variety of tasks without direct supervision and observe deadlines Strong organizational and project management skills Must be able to work effectively with volunteers and local stakeholders Some flexibility in work schedule required for occasional evening or weekend events Offer contingent upon successful completion of background check Preferred Qualifications: Associates degree or higher desired At least one year's experience working with youth programs Background or interest in STEM field, particularly engineering/electronics Experience implementing STEM education curricula Ability to write standard reports Required Documents Along with the online application, please attach: 1.
