The College of the Arts (COTA) offers top degree programs in art, music, film, theatre and more. The College connects its students with Atlanta's thriving arts scene and booming film and music industries. Through the College's partnerships with the City of Atlanta's cultural organizations, students combine their craft with training in entrepreneurship and the latest digital technologies to ensure dynamic, successful careers. Established in 2016, the College of the Arts is comprised of three schools: Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design, School of Film, Media & Theatre, School of Music, as well as the Dean's Office, Office of Educational Outreach, and the Rialto Center for the Arts.

The Rialto Center for the Arts is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to lead branding, promotion, and audience engagement efforts. This role is responsible for developing innovative marketing strategies to grow event attendance, overseeing graphic design and digital content creation, and managing the center's website and social media presence.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for the arts, strong design and communication skills, and experience in marketing, media relations, and event promotion.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

The scope of responsibility will include these essential areas but is not limited to the following:




  • Develop creative marketing strategies to effectively brand Rialto and Educational Outreach programs and services
  • Designing print and digital materials
  • Coordinating media outreach and press relations
  • Writing press releases
  • Organizing promotional events
  • Update and maintain digital signage
  • Collaborate with videographers and photographers

Qualifications :

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or a related field and three years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:




  • Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns across print, digital, and social media platforms
  • Knowledge of social media management tools and best practices for audience engagement
  • Excellent writing and editing skills for press releases, promotional materials, and social media content
  • Experience with website management (WordPress, Drupal, or similar CMS) and basic HTML knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to analyze marketing data and trends to optimize campaigns and audience reach
  • Experience working in arts organizations, theaters, or cultural institutions
  • Familiarity with media relations and press outreach
  • Event planning and coordination experience
  • Photography and/or videography skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
