This Product Manager will primarily encapsulate our Software Monetization products. You will drive the development of new features alongside enhancements of the product, and ensure that the 'voice of business' is fully represented in the agile process.

The products you will manage are business critical to Software Publishers, SaaS providers and Intelligent Device Manufacturers. You will take responsibility for the product and it's features from concept to EOL. You will work with architects, product managers, marketing and development teams to ensure that business, quality and functional goals are met with each product release. You are a key decision maker in priorities and design decisions and shall ensure that all stakeholders are aligned at each stage. See below for a description of the products you will own.

Responsibilities:

  • Create user stories by collaborating with product owners, customers marketing and engineering.
  • Work with development teams to ensure that they understand the vision and scope for each feature.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally.
  • Actively participate in the agile processes and remove/mitigate impediments impacting successful completion of Release/Sprint goals.
  • Manage the full product life cycle for Software Monetization products
  • Conduct customer research and gather feedback on feature development
  • Help create marketing materials such as datasheets and white papers that communicate the customer benefits of our product offerings, and reflect our position as an established industry leader
  • Be the product ambassador and expert for the rest of the organization including sales, sales engineers, consulting, technical support and account managers
  • Where appropriate, support Product Management leaders with ongoing strategic initiatives
  • Be at ease interacting externally whether with different types of customers or at events.
  • A willingness to travel for business purposes (e.g. customer QBRs, internal meetings, industry events etc)

Skills and Knowledge:

  • BA/BS degree
  • Agile software development experience is mandatory
  • Demonstrable real-world experience in the areas of product management, applications engineering and/or professional services
  • Experience with SaaS products
  • Experience managing requirements from a variety of sources (strategy, roadmap, backlog and competing customer escalations) with ultimately limited engineering resources.
  • Ability to understand, explain, document, prioritize (using a defendable analytical method) and argue the validity of complex and interrelated use cases (using appropriate language for variety of audience)
  • Experience working in the software licensing/entitlement management domain beneficial
  • Exposure to a range of technologies areas such as
    • Digital Signatures and Cryptography
    • Windows, Linux, Mac, Android
    • Embedded Software
    • IoT and Cloud Computing
    • Application Security (protecting software, tamper detection/resistance)
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills as well as attention to detail
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively on projects with developers and software development managers
  • Must be able to demonstrate success in prior positions
  • Experience working with highly-complex products
  • Results-Driven
