The Role

As a Product Marketing Manager - Energy Conversion, you will be responsible for driving the market penetration, awareness, and sales growth of steam compressors and heat pump solutions. You will develop and execute marketing strategies, work closely with sales teams, and position Atlas Copco as a leading provider of sustainable energy conversion solutions in the U.S. market.

This role requires technical expertise in thermodynamics, heat pumps, and steam systems, coupled with a strong marketing acumen to translate product benefits into compelling value propositions for industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for steam compressors and industrial heat pumps.

* Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, customer needs, competitor activities, and pricing trends.

* Work closely with the digital marketing team to design and execute promotional campaigns, webinars, and technical content.

* Create marketing collateral, case studies, and value-proposition materials to support the sales process.

* Position Atlas Copco's energy conversion solutions as leaders in CO reduction and industrial efficiency.

* Identify and qualify high-potential leads through market research, digital campaigns, and industry networking, then proactively provide these leads to the sales team with relevant insights and strategies to accelerate market penetration.

* Collaborate with sales and business development teams to create customer engagement strategies.

* Support direct and indirect sales channels in opportunity identification and project specification.

* Serve as a subject matter expert on steam compressors, industrial heat pumps, and thermal energy systems.

* Work closely with the engineering and product development teams to align product features with market demands.

* Contribute to new product development efforts by gathering customer insights and industry trends.

* Stay updated on industry regulations, energy policies, and government incentives for decarbonization and industrial energy efficiency.

What we expect of you?

What We Expect from You

Education & Experience

* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Thermal & Power Engineering, chemical engineering or a related field.

* 5+ years of experience in technical sales, product marketing, or business development in energy systems, industrial heat pumps, boilers, steam utility systems, or compressed air solutions.

* Solid understanding of thermodynamics, steam cycles, and refrigeration technologies.

Skills & Competencies

* Strong technical and commercial acumen to translate product capabilities into customer benefits.

* Excellent presentation and communication skills to engage internal teams and external stakeholders.

* Analytical mindset with experience in market research, competitive analysis, and pricing strategies.

* Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and digital marketing tools.

* Willingness to travel (up to 30-40%) for customer meetings, training sessions, and industry events.
