We are hiring a Guidewire Developer (ClaimCenter) to join our team in Erie, PA.
We are open to relocation candidates! Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and implementing Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions. This role involves working closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Responsibilities: * *Develop and Implement Solutions*: Design, develop, and implement Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions to meet business requirements. * *Customization and Configuration*: Customize and configure Guidewire ClaimCenter applications, including policy, billing, and claims management modules. * *Integration*: Integrate Guidewire ClaimCenter with other systems and applications using APIs and web services. * *Troubleshooting and Support*: Provide troubleshooting and support for Guidewire ClaimCenter applications, resolving issues in a timely manner. * *Collaboration*: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to ensure successful project delivery. * *Documentation*: Create and maintain technical documentation for Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions. * *Testing*: Conduct unit testing and support system integration testing to ensure the quality and functionality of the developed solutions. Qualifications: * *Education*: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * *Experience*: * Minimum of 5 years of experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter development. * Proven experience in customizing and configuring Guidewire applications. * Experience with Guidewire Cloud * Strong knowledge of Java, GOSU, and XML. * Familiarity with SQL and database management. * Experience with web services (SOAP/REST) and integration technologies. * Preferred Qualifications: * Guidewire Certification is a plus. * Experience with Agile development methodologies. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr. * Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance, coverage begins on your first day of employment o Erie pays up at 97% of monthly medical and prescription premium for employees * Matching 401 (k) - 100% match on first 3 percent of base pay, 50% match on next 2 percent of base pay * Pension plan - defined benefit plan fully vested after 5 years of service * This position is onsite in Erie, Pa and we offer a great relocation package! o Temporary living, house-hunting trip(s), closing cost assistance on sale/purchase of home, home buy-out, van line move, paid expenses during travel to new location (air, mileage, lodging, meals), relocation allowance of $2,000 * 10 paid holidays (6 fixed holidays and 4 floating holidays, which are prorated based on month started) * Vacation accrual: 16 days (10 hrs accrued monthly) * Celebrating 100 years in business in 2025 and have never had a layoff! *Workplace Type* This is a fully onsite position in Erie,PA. *Application Deadline* This position is anticipated to close on Mar 26, 2025.
