What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience"

  • Responsible for entering item data requests into the Item Management system and verifying success across all system platforms including:



  1. a) Utilizing a HelpDesk ticketing platform.
  2. b) Adhering to service level and time requirements and reviewing efficiency.
  3. c) Possessing the ability to problem solve and adapt to ambiguous information.
  4. d) Employ consistency throughout the system.



  • Will be required to do product research to verify accuracy of item requests, including:



  1. a) Online research.
  2. b) Engaging with our product partners and vendors.
  3. c) Engaging with CTC colleagues.



  • Potential to analyze across multiple vendors to track spend trends in order to identify and form best purchasing practices for the company.
  • Works to ensure Profisee/D365 upload information is categorized, documented and meets associated metrics.
  • Work with IT and other groups to provide feedback on systems improvement.
  • Collaborate with multiple groups to optimize processes to promote understanding, effectiveness and efficiency within the team.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of system data for integrity and accuracy.
  • Looks for opportunities to standardize data and find solutions to enable optimal functionality for the organization.
  • Responsible for ensuring data quality and integrity is maintained by enforcing company governance rules.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

  • Show growth in learning new software tools, including PowerBI.
  • Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field


Minimum Experience: 2+ years of purchasing, data analysis, operations, or other relevant area

Preferred Experience: (but not required):



  • Experience in electronic security industry and/or fire alarm
