Job Overview

The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, as well as experience in developing Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. Additionally, the candidate should be skilled in integrating Salesforce with other platforms to enhance business processes and data flow, with a particular focus on generating insightful reports to drive business decisions.

Essential Functions

  • Design, develop, and implement Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
  • Customize and configure Salesforce to meet business needs, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using REST/SOAP APIs and third-party tools.
  • Work on Salesforce integration projects to seamlessly connect Salesforce with other platforms, enhancing data flow and business processes.
  • Create and manage reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including testing and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and recommend improvements to existing systems.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users and other team members.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.


Required Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or specialized training can be used in lieu of the education requirement.

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and development tools.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and third-party tools.
  • Strong experience in creating and managing Salesforce reports and dashboards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Salesforce Developer Certification(s) is a plus.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
  • Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
