  • Pay Range: $125k-$135k plus bonus, to commensurate with experience

Job Summary:

The HR Business Partner is a key member of the HR team, supporting operations nationwide to ensure the right talent is in place to drive business growth, retention, and sales success. Partnering with the leadership team, this role focuses on HR strategy development, employee relations, talent management, and execution of key people initiatives. The HRBP acts as a trusted advisor, linking HR and business objectives to deliver impactful solutions while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Employee Relations: Manage complex employee relations cases and provide solutions that minimize risk and ensure compliance across multiple states.
  • Talent Management: Develop and execute strategies for talent acquisition, retention, development, and succession planning.
  • HR Strategy: Collaborate with business leaders to design and implement HR strategies aligned with division goals.
  • Sales and Growth Support: Partner with operational and sales teams to support business growth through effective workforce planning.
  • Multi-State Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, with a preference for knowledge of California employment law.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Promote inclusive hiring, promotions, and talent management processes.
  • Project Leadership: Lead HR-related projects and change initiatives within a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interpret data to drive business decisions and recommend people strategies
Experience working cross-functionally, especially in change management and talent development
Effective at relationship building, coaching, and influencing leaders
Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations; California expertise preferred

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • PHR/SPHR certification or HR Master's preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a multi-site, multi-unit environment
  • Union experience preferred
  • Strong background in employee relations and talent management
  • Operations experience a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
