Job Description
Position Summary

The Portfolio and Credit Risk Department of TBK Bank, SSB seeks a qualified Portfolio Risk Analyst whose primary responsibilities include: (i) creating monthly and quarterly reporting for the Bank; (ii) helping create presentations for senior lending and credit management; (iii) supporting external or internal audit partners by providing timely and accurate documentation or information; and (iv) acting as a backup to support the Bank's asset classification processes to ensure accurate financial reporting of risk associated with the loan portfolio.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Creates monthly and quarterly reports for the Bank management and Board of Directors, understanding key banking concepts of the reporting such as regulatory governance, asset quality reporting, financial trend metrics, portfolio monitoring priorities, concentration risks, among others.

  • Review reporting and communicate red flags, inconsistencies or areas of concern or improvement to management.

  • Participate in efforts to evaluate current report generating methodology, implementing improvements and efficiencies as applicable.

  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs, developing solutions and reporting to aid in management's ability to make sound business decisions

  • Support credit and lending management in the preparation of presentation material for key presentations.

  • Learn how to acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems, as appropriate, in order to build new reporting functionality as needed.

  • Gather, analyze and interpret large data sets to identify key trends and summarize key behavioral conclusions.

  • Provides backup support for external and internal asset classification management as needed.

  • Supports credit and lending as necessary to support audit and exam processes by supplying information and/or documentation on a timely and accurate basis.

Experience & Education
  • Bachelor's degree is required, with a major in Accounting, Finance, Statistics or Data Analytics preferred

  • 0-3 years of experience in banking or financial services

  • Experience in Commercial Credit a plus

  • Experience with reporting writing and preparing presentations a plus
