Position Summary
We are looking for an exceptionally skilled and experienced Managing Principal to join our team. You will lead client success and product management across the Cyber Security Services (CSS) portfolio. You will lead and shape our security strategy and ensuring that our services meet the highest technical standards of security, that our collateral clearly articulates our value to our clients, and that our offerings are aligned with the needs of our customers. This role will act as an individual contributor and thought leader.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with offensive and defensive delivery teams to integrate technical threat intelligence into engagement findings, both on individual projects and across the practice.
  • Lead the build out for technical methodology for adversary emulation and penetration testing engagements across the offensive security practice.
  • Act as strategic advisor to executives at enterprise clients to ensure successful delivery of services and recommend improvements on enhancing their security programs.
  • Develop and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for measuring the effectiveness of threat-focused offensive and defensive operations.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of offensive capabilities through automation, data analytics, and security tooling enhancements.
  • Manage enterprise client contracted services and implement outcome-based programs to enhance overall customer success/satisfaction during the course of delivery.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of comprehensive threat-focused cybersecurity offerings, including exposure management programs, penetration testing programs, and defensive offerings.
  • Perform competitive analysis to set pricing for all CSS offerings to optimize growth and serve enterprise-level clients.
  • Drive pre-sales activities, including leading client meetings with senior security executives and leading cross-functional teams in RFP responses.
  • Stay current with emerging security threats and trends, and proactively identify areas of improvement to enhance our security offerings.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on security matters, providing insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee process to create new threat-focused services, including initial design, pricing, staffing models, collateral development, and enablement.
What You'll Bring
  • 15+ years of experience in program management, product development, and business strategy.
  • Proven experience in leadership positions in threat-focused offensive, defensive, or managed services teams, like penetration testing, adversary emulation, exposure management, application security program development, threat hunting, and darkweb monitoring.
  • Extensive knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP, NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, and cyber threat intelligence frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and refining offensive security and managed services processes.
  • Extensive experience in content development of go-to-market materials for threat-focused services.
  • Extensive experience in competitive pricing analysis for threat-focused services.
  • Extensive experience in launching new threat-focused cybersecurity services.
  • Extensive experience in collaborating with software partners for go-to-market activities.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with experience leading security teams.
  • Deep understanding of adversary emulation and exposure management methodology, how technical threat intelligence feeds into those services, adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong ability to align technical offensive security objectives and findings with broader organizational security strategy.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Ability to travel as required, up to 20%
The salary range listed is a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role based on national salary averages. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certifications and other factors. You may also be eligible to participate in annual incentive, commission, and/or recognition programs.
