*Job Description:*
*We are seeking a skilled and driven Data Scientist/Modeling Specialist* to join our team, focusing on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and fraud detection through the use of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). In this role, you will support the development, enhancement, and compliance of models designed to verify customer identities when they apply for services such as credit cards, auto loans, and brokerage accounts. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your quantitative/statistical expertise and coding skills to ensure these models meet the stringent regulatory requirements. *Key Responsibilities:* * Assist in advancing models that verify customer identities in line with AML requirements using Machine Learning and AI techniques. * Collaborate with teams to ensure the compliance and integrity of models, overcoming challenges in model implementation and regulatory adherence. * Work with large datasets to refine model performance and compliance across various financial services (credit cards, auto loans, brokerage). * Apply statistical analysis and coding (Python) to optimize and automate model processes and KPIs. * Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) to present model performance and findings. *Skills and Qualifications:* * 2-3 years of experience in data science, with strong proficiency in *Python*, *SQL*, and *data visualization* (Tableau). * Solid understanding of quantitative and statistical methods. * Hands-on experience applying Machine Learning techniques to complex business problems. * Ideal candidates will have a *Master's degree* (Ph.D. preferred) in a relevant field. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
