Job Summary

As the IT Financial Analyst, you provide financial support and analysis in budgeting, planning, business processes, and reporting at the global IT level under the Office of the CIO. You will interface with cross-functional leaders, managers, VPs and the CIO and have an opportunity to contribute across various business challenges.

Essential Functions:
The Financial Analysts' role has responsibility for a wide range of financial support and analysis tasks. You will help to ensure that departmental financial objectives are met. You will be responsible for managing and facilitating various financial processes, including MSP accruals, month-end close, quarter-end close, fiscal-year close, and open PO accruals for the various IT functions. This role requires an extensive experience in financial management and executive presence.
* Prepare and drive operational and financial metrics in support of key decision making for the CIO and IT VPs.
* Participate in projects related to financial systems or business processes.
* Gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, trended future requirements and operating forecasts.
* Work with cross-functional groups to provide technical support to business units including:
o Forecasting
o Budgeting
o Variance analysis
o Cost analysis
o Regulatory/compliance analysis and reporting
o Executive reporting
* Integrate financial processes and operations of the business.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
* Oversee the financial management of various applications teams, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Track and maintain a detailed financial forecast for multiple IT teams, achieving a high level of forecast accuracy.
* Roll up reporting at the global IT level to support the CIO in making financial decision making.
* A trusted advisor to the VPs and CIO in managing our budgets.

Job Requirements

* Excellent in executive level presentation and communication.
* Good written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills to work successfully with the CIO staff and managers within and outside of function.
* Excellent skill in preparing executive level presentations.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and on cross functional teams.
* Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas.
* Ability to follow standard accounting and finance practices, and departmental procedures and processes.
* Really strong Microsoft Office skills particularly complex Excel and Powerpoint.
* A Strong analyst should be able to work with large financial datasets to identify and explain variances and have a solid understanding of our current financial position. Being able to answer the "what changed?" question will be the biggest gap to fill in my opinion.
* Ability to craft the story behind the numbers for the CIO and VPs.
* Experience in consulting, banking, large corporate finance setting would be a huge plus.
* Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and reconciliation processes.
* Proficiency in financial software and tools, including Oracle ERP Cloud.

Responsibility and Interaction:

* Responsibility:
o The tasks this individual is responsible for are often non-routine and unstructured, requiring creative solutions.
o This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving routine to moderately complex problems.

* Interaction:
o This individual must work effectively with the CIO, IT Vice Presidents, IT managers and corporate finance department.
o Limited management direction is provided to employee on new projects or assignments as well as review of activities and priorities.
o The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert on IT end-to-end financial management.
o To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through coaching, influencing others, and critical thinking to effectively support the CIO.

Education

* A minimum of 5 years of experience is required. 6 to 8 years of experience is preferred.
* A University Degree or equivalent experience is required.

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 104,380 - 155,320 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
