What You'll Do

Join our collaborative, cross-functional team of experts, and help us in our research to explore the value of new medicines and other healthcare interventions. Our research is used by health care systems all over the world in their decisions about patients' access to new treatments, and to optimize health benefits for patients and their caregivers.

You will be responsible for managing the non-technical aspects of health preference projects for pharmaceutical clients. You will oversee project budgets, regularly forecasting labor hours and expenses to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. Additionally, you will create and manage project timelines, ensuring that all milestones are met. Your role involves scheduling and participating in both internal and external project meetings, where you document key discussions, distribute meeting notes, and follow up on action items. You will proactively identify changes in project plans and scope, proposing and implementing solutions to effectively manage these adjustments. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain strong working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including editorial and graphic design leads, the quality office, the legal and procurement office, the proposal office, technical research staff, executive leadership, and clients. You will also assist in managing client communication and building lasting client relationships, ensuring successful project execution and client satisfaction.


Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Manage ethics and institutional review board (IRB) submissions.
  • Assist in proposal development and bidding, including staffing, timeline, budgeting, developing work breakdown structure, and identifying subcontractors as needed.
  • Manage quality-assurance activities for individual projects, including scheduling and documenting senior review, quality control of data, and editing.
  • Liaise with third party vendors and clinical sites for outsourced work to obtain quotes, execute contracts and manage ongoing communications.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support the project review process
  • Develop and refine tools and approaches for PM at the organization. Learn and support the implementation of new tools and process for improved PM.

What You'll Need

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's level degree plus a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management or coordination and administration.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and budgeting activities and resources for projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft software (including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Demonstrated experience or skills developing timelines, flowcharts, workplans, tracking tools, spreadsheets, and other elements of project plans using Excel, SmartSheet, or Microsoft Project.

Preferred:

  • PMI or other PM certification
  • Experience with or knowledge of survey research

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience using enterprise management systems to enter budget forecasts and run financial reports. Deltek vision preferred.
  • Experience working on scientific research projects, with a preference toward health-related fields.
  • Experience with processes for handling confidential information
  • Strong time management skills, verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail

Our pay ranges represent national averages and may vary by location as a geographic differential may be applied to some locations within the United States.
