We are seeking an Executive Pastry Chef who is a visionary leader, passionate about innovation and excellence in the world of pastries and desserts. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all pastry operations and ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation Develop and implement diverse, enticing dessert menus that delight our guests Lead and mentor a team of pastry professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity Manage cost controls and expenditures to ensure financial success Coordinate and execute high-quality dessert catering events Collaborate with marketing and culinary teams to roll out new pastry programs and initiatives Preferred Qualifications: A.S. degree or equivalent experience Extensive pastry/kitchen management experience, with a preference for those with high-volume and catering experience Proven track record in complex foodservice operations Comprehensive understanding of pastry and dessert trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and the Internet Strong leadership and team-building skills Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs and activities ServSafe certification is highly desirable Apply to Restaurant Associates today!
