Salary: $100,000 - $115,000

Job Summary

We are seeking an Executive Pastry Chef who is a visionary leader, passionate about innovation and excellence in the world of pastries and desserts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all pastry operations and ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Develop and implement diverse, enticing dessert menus that delight our guests
  • Lead and mentor a team of pastry professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity
  • Manage cost controls and expenditures to ensure financial success
  • Coordinate and execute high-quality dessert catering events
  • Collaborate with marketing and culinary teams to roll out new pastry programs and initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • Extensive pastry/kitchen management experience, with a preference for those with high-volume and catering experience
  • Proven track record in complex foodservice operations
  • Comprehensive understanding of pastry and dessert trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and the Internet
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs and activities
  • ServSafe certification is highly desirable
