Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this position is to lead the training and development of the Business Development Leadership staff. The key functions of this position are to oversee the BD leadership training program, develop, coordinate and facilitate centralized learning and training for Business Development Leaders, including both new hires and tenured representatives.

  • Plans, develops and oversees virtual and onsite training programs for both newly hired and tenured business development leaders as well as regional leadership teams across the organization.
  • Designs and oversees continuous learning solutions to meet the identified learning needs of Business Development Leadership, prepares goals and outcome measures to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Assesses and improves the effectiveness of ongoing leadership training strategies/programs to ensure consistency and quality across the organization.
  • Implements targeted learning solutions and provides support for training and specific skill practice.
  • Conducts needs assessments to determine specific continuous learning needs for tenured Business Development Leaders.
  • Evaluates effectiveness of learning programs and resources and make necessary adjustments to improve learning outcomes
  • Collaborates with senior field leadership to ensure training programs are aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Complies with policies, procedures and regulatory mandates including but not limited to abiding to the terms of the Amedisys Compliance Program.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, education, business or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Five (5+) years' experience in Home Health and/or Hospice practice, or clinical education training.
  • Ten (10) years' experience in training/coaching.
  • Five (5+) years in content writing and development.
  • Two (2) years' experience leading projects, programs or teams.
Preferred:
  • Master's degree in healthcare, education, or business or related field.
  • Seven (7+) years' experience in the Home Health and/or Hospice field.
  • Experience with programs such as Canva & Vimeo
  • MS Office Suite including Power Point, Teams & Excel
  • Experience in Business Development leadership

Travel:

  • Approximately 25%
