Mortgage Acquisition Summer Internship Position Description: Do you have an interest in valuing, acquiring, managing, and reporting on a large and dynamic portfolio of fixed income assets? Do you thrive in a complex, fast-paced, analytical-oriented environment? The Mortgage Acquisition Summer Internship Program offers qualified students the opportunity to integrate academic learning with hands-on, practical experience in a fast-paced acquisition and management environment. Key focal areas during the program will be supporting the business efforts to acquire mortgage whole loans, mortgage-backed securities and mortgage servicing rights in the secondary market, as well as supporting transaction management, data analytics, forecasting, and financial reporting on the Division's business performance. The program is rotational, with interns spending time across the six functional areas of the Mortgage Acquisition team, as well as doing development-oriented project work. Summer interns will work closely with senior decision-makers, and will gain insight into advanced business decision processes. This program offers an accelerated path towards full-time employment for select hard-working individuals who are passionate about learning and are motivated by positive impact on the team's strategy execution. Position Requirements: * The ideal candidate is a highly-motivated learner with a proven track record of success, who thrives in challenging, fast-paced and occasionally high-stress environments. * The candidate must have strong quantitative abilities and must possess excellent problem solving and analytical skills. * The candidate must be a team-oriented self-starter who can work independently or contribute selflessly to a team effort. * The candidate is familiar with general accounting and finance concepts. * The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills and must demonstrate ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and succinct manner. * Candidates must have completed their Junior year in college by the beginning of the internship or be enrolled in a relevant graduate program. * The position requires an undergraduate major or graduate program in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Risk Management, Statistics, Data Analytics, or MIS with 3.5 minimum GPA. Program Details: The Summer internship program runs for ten weeks from May 27 thru August 1, 2025, 8:30-4:30 each business day. Daily work will include a focus on both academic and experiential learning. Interns will develop a macro understanding of banking and financial systems, a micro understanding of the secondary mortgage markets, and a high-level understanding of the mortgage acquisition business. The internship is compensated at a rate of $32 per hour. The program is onsite in the Oklahoma City office at 777 NW Grand Boulevard, and does not offer hybrid/remote work.
