Overview

Orrick currently has an excellent opportunity for a Content and Campaigns Strategist and Senior Writer in the New York office.

The Objective: As a Content and Campaigns Strategist and Senior Writer, you will play a pivotal role in planning, managing, and executing high-impact, multi-channel business development campaigns that effectively convey our firm's story and value proposition to targeted audiences. You will collaborate with law firm partners, communications, creative, and business development professionals to drive innovation and connect with audiences through thought leadership.

What will I do? You will be responsible for the following key areas.


Responsibilities

Campaign Strategy and Execution

  • Collaborate with partners and teams to plan, evaluate, and execute high-impact business development campaigns.
  • Define campaign goals, target audiences, and performance metrics to measure success and optimize efforts.
  • Communicate campaign plans, progress, and results to stakeholders.

Content Creation and Collaboration

  • Support the creation, editing, and dissemination of campaign-related content.
  • Work with content, creative, and other teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of distinctive, commercial campaign content.

Budget and Vendor Management

  • Monitor campaign spending and optimize budget allocation to maximize ROI.
  • Identify and manage external vendors and partners, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.

Performance Reporting and Trend Monitoring

  • Prepare and present detailed campaign performance reports, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Stay up to date with business development trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of content marketing or business development experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Proven ability in campaign strategy and design, project coordination, and creative delivery.
  • Strong understanding of channel strategy and metrics reporting.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with firm marketing systems; proficiency with generative AI tools is a plus.
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience required; MBA is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $225,000.

Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
