Job Posting: Project Manager - Munitions Response

Salary: $80,000 - $150,000
Location: Remote, travel required

EA Engineering, Science and Technology Inc., PBC (EA) is a trusted provider of munitions response services to Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial clients since 2007. As we continue to expand our Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) and Sustainable Range Program, we are looking for experienced professionals to join our growing team. We have immediate opportunities for Munitions Response (MR) Project Managers to support both ongoing projects and new business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Munitions Response (MR) Professional, you will play an integral role in the planning, design, execution, and management of MMRP and Sustainable Range Program proposals and projects. Responsibilities may vary depending on experience, title, and grade level but generally include:



  • Leading and/or supporting MR project activities to ensure successful delivery of project scope, objectives, schedule, and budget while meeting all quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinating and/or leading nationwide proposal efforts.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of geologists, engineers, chemists, geophysicists, project managers, and risk assessors.
  • Managing the preparation of key MR documents, such as UFP-QAPPs, ESS/ESP/CSS, RI/FS/PP/DD, and RACR.
  • Overseeing field operations, including reporting, staffing, cost tracking, and project schedule management. Communicating effectively with EA management and clients.
  • Coordinating with government, regulatory, and other agencies to ensure compliance and effective project delivery.
  • Tracking and managing task/project progress, including schedule, cost, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:



  • A B.S. degree or higher in geology, engineering, environmental sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience, including 3 or more years experience managing munitions response projects
  • Proven experience in providing cost-effective solutions for MR projects, including assessment, investigation, remediation, and range sustainment/clearance.
  • Experience managing projects involving Digital Geophysical Mapping (DGM) and Advanced Geophysical Classification (AGC) is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with DoD clients such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Army Environmental Command (AEC), U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), and U.S. Air Force.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% for pre-proposal activities and field work, depending on position and project requirements.
  • U.S. citizenship and a valid U.S. driver's license are required.
