The Payroll Tax Specialist is a member of the Payroll team that will research tax notices, manage quarterly and annual returns with ADP and serve as a backup to the Payroll Systems Specialist in processing payroll related interfaces.
This is a hybrid role, onsite Tuesday through Thursday in our Fenton, MO campus. 60% - Research and respond to Federal, State and Local tax agency notices. Manage Quarterly tax filings and Year End W-2's utilizing ADP. Monitor relevant tax legislation. Reconcile state unemployment rates. 40% - Respond to service inquiries and special requests from employees and tax authorities including BLS reports and Department of Labor. Payroll related projects as needed. Serve as a back-up to the Payroll Systems Specialist in processing payroll-related jobs for weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payroll processing, which includes internal and external interfaces. Provide data analysis to drive process improvements, review system configurations and evaluate system functionality, make recommendations for enhanced solutions. Tests and implements systems updates and improvements for greater efficiencies in payroll processes. Qualifications
