Follow and commit to safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Operate a yard truck or tractor with or without a trailer within Dart property lines, never traveling on a public roadway Conduct visual inspections of tractor and trailer and perform preventative maintenance checks and services of truck and trailer. Report any malfunctions to supervisor and maintenance staff. Coordinate with warehouse staff as needed regarding dock management, routing and sequencing of trailers or freight Assist with loading or unloading freight or product manually or via forklift, lift truck or pallet jack Couple, uncouple, connect airlines, etc. and safely maneuver equipment in difficult situations such as narrow passageways What You'll Need: Valid driver's license and favorable driving record upon hiring and ability to maintain both throughout duration of employment Six (6) months prior warehouse, material handling or PIT operations experience Ability to obtain and maintain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) license Ability to observe, follow, understand, and evaluate processes demonstrated and other workplace procedures Ability to meet safety, quality and service standards Professional written and verbal communication skills Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues If you're ready to bring your dedication and attention to detail to a role where it truly matters, apply today!
