About the Role

Reporting to the Sr. IT/IS Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation, support, and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system within our manufacturing operations. This role will focus on ensuring the successful deployment and integration of EAM applications to support maintenance, reliability, and asset lifecycle management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and drive efficiency in asset management.

Your work within the IT Team will directly impact our strategic goals and contribute to our position as a global leader in battery technology.

What You Will Do
  • Participate in the design, implementation, administration, and support of the local EAM system with the assistance of regional and global IT resources.
  • Collaborate in system integration testing and factory acceptance testing for new equipment startup, ensuring seamless asset tracking and management.
  • Act as a liaison between maintenance teams, equipment vendors, contractors, and the IT department to ensure proper system configuration and utilization.
  • Assist with the implementation and support of our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and other plant-specific applications for asset management, predictive maintenance, and reliability tracking.
  • Provide continuous improvements to the EAM system by working closely with global CoE teams.
  • Collaborate with maintenance engineers, reliability engineers, and production managers to optimize asset performance and system efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain interfaces and communications between EAM, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive EAM documentation, ensuring compliance with best practices and company standards.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to support asset lifecycle decisions and predictive maintenance initiatives.

Qualifications
What You Need
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation environments working with EAM systems, CMMS, or related enterprise applications.
  • Experience with application and system integrations in manufacturing or maintenance environments.
  • Knowledge of asset lifecycle management, preventive maintenance strategies, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
  • Understanding of databases and database management tools for asset tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to troubleshoot, modify, and standardize EAM environments.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis (RCA) and problem-solving techniques for system optimization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Teams and PowerPoint.
  • Understands and follows all standards of IATF16949 and VDA 6.3 quality standards. (training and awareness will be provided for those who are not familiar with these standards)
  • Understands and follows all standards of ISO14001 environmental standards. (training and awareness will be provided for those who are not familiar with these standards)
What is "Nice to Have"?
  • Experience with EAM software such as IBM Maximo.
  • Exporting EAM data into dashboards
  • Experience integrating EAM environments with ERP systems like SAP.
  • Experience in greenfield manufacturing plant startups.
  • Knowledge of Open Platform Communication (OPC) servers, such as Kepware.
  • Experience with Oracle Databases and SQL queries.
  • Programming experience in .NET, C#, or similar languages.
  • Experience with Power BI for asset performance reporting and analytics.
  • Background in OT/IT network design elements relevant to asset management.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile/Scrum.
  • Understanding of incident, problem, and change management related to EAM.
  • Knowledge of ISO 55000 asset management standards.
  • Experience with battery manufacturing, EV manufacturing, or refinery operations.
  • Proficiency in additional languages beyond English is advantageous.
  • Cross-cultural experience is a plus.

Work Environment
