We are looking to hire an Epidemiologist to partner with a diverse team of epidemiologists, applied statisticians, and software developers in designing and implementing research studies using complex, real-world data, such as insurance claims or electronic health records. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge pharmacoepidemiology and advanced statistical methods while working with and learning from leaders in the field. What You'll Do
What You'll Bring Master's degree in epidemiology or equivalent experience. 3+ years of research experience (design, execution and publication of scientific research); experience in observational research and/or pharmacoepidemiology preferred. Experience and familiarity with quantitative research methods and fundamental statistical techniques. Familiarity with the submission process of scientific manuscripts to peer reviewed journals. R programming skills a plus. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Solid grounding in epidemiological methods and principles.Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to take initiative while maintaining open lines of communication with senior colleagues. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills including a strong aptitude for precise and impactful scientific writing. Knowledge of observational research methodologies and/or casual inference techniques (e.g., inverse probability weighting, negative control outcomes/exposures, quantitative bias analyses) a plus. Strong proficiency in MS Office. Ability to troubleshoot problems and think analytically. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work. Ability to plan and execute diverse tasks at the same time. Compensation will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer. What we offer you
