Coordinator Performance Improvement - Full Time - Days - Warren

Shift: Days-hybrid remote/in person. No holidays or weekends.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Organizes and coordinates performance improvement program activities and workflow.

Responsibilities:



  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary team on problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services and systems/ performance measures.
  • Researches, develops/acquires and implements improvement systems, methodologies and tools to improve operation.
  • Collaborates with Leaders to develop and revise screening indicators.
  • Provides on-site training and follow-up for performance improvement teams.
  • Performs regulatory documentation preparation, submission, and maintenance. Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Assists in policy, procedure and contract review process. Coordinates quality improvement initiatives.



CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:



  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certification specializing in Lean Healthcare Management preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable


  • Previous surgical and/or quality and performance improvement experience preferred.
  • Medical staff quality and peer review experience preferred.
  • RN with previous quality experience preferred.
