Responsible for implementation and service delivery of the early episode psychosis model. Also responsible for coordinating team activities, monitoring quality assurance, and supporting fidelity monitoring of LSSI's Coordinated Specialty Care Program.
Schedule
: Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm

EssentialFunctions:
- Provide administrative and clinical oversight to the Coordinated Specialty Care Team.
- Responsible for hiring and maintaining staffing/scheduling.
- Coordinate meetings in compliance with program model, ensure communication is efficient and all team members are kept informed of relevant issues involving all participants and their families.
- Provide direct services for program participants, including specialized assessments, and serve as primary clinician to assigned caseload.
- Coordinate referrals admissions, discharges, and monitor caseloads.
- Complete intake assessment for referrals at inpatient psychiatric hospitals, crisis units, or in the agency's office. Every effort will be made to provide seamless services between hospital discharge and outpatient treatment and Review and approve clinical documentation.
- Provide individual and group supervision to staff accruing clinical experience and hours for professional licensure (according to licensure status).
- Partner with BHS Outreach & Engagement Coordinator to conduct outreach to increase referrals to the program.
- Engage the client and family members/significant others into the FEP Program.
- Engage in regular consultation meetings with the FIRST Consultant/Trainer.
- Coordinate monthly CBT-p consultation with the BeST Center's CBT-p Consultant/Trainer.
- Participate in monthly multi-disciplinary first episode psychosis learning collaborative.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest and fair manner.
Position Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology required.
- LCSW/LCPC required.
- Three (3) years of experience providing mental health services to youth or young adults with serious mental health challenges OR two years of direct service experience in early psychosis program required.
- Managerial/supervisory experience with the ability to coach staff to effectively engage clients and family members required.
- Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred.
- Background check clearance required.
- Demonstrated ability establish trusting, hopeful relationships with clients and their families required.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with and respect differences of opinion, beliefs, culture, appearances and ways of life required.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent organization, presentation and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software.
- Valid driver's license, in good standing for the state of residency required.
- Access to reliable transportation required.
- Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.
