Department: Property Management
Reporting to: Senior Manager Facilities
Location:Bentonville, AR

Walton Enterprises is seeking a skilled, highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join the team as a Receptionist. The ideal teammate will have the demonstrated ability to provide office support.

About the Position

About the Property Management Department
The Property Management team assists the family members with all property related activities including acquisition, design, and development. They manage a variety of properties including both personal and commercial real estate, vehicles, equipment, and other property related assets throughout the country. The Property Management team also supports the Walton Family Foundation and Walton Enterprises office buildings.

Responsibilities

What you will do

You will greet and direct visitors to applicable employees as well as executing security measures. Provide office support, handle security measures, and operate the telephone system.

    Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks.
  • Collect, sort, and distribute mail; coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services.
  • Assist with scheduling office meetings and events, as requested; coordinate logistics, prepare materials and supplies.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as copying, faxing, taking notes, and making travel plans.
  • Monitor inventory of office supplies and snacks, reorder as necessary.
  • Keep common areas of the office clean and organized. Maintain breakroom load/unload dishwasher each day, restock snacks in kitchen and pantry areas throughout the office.
  • Serve visitors that arrive at the office by greeting them and directing them to the appropriate person.
  • Notify employees of visitor and maintain security by following procedures, verifying appointments, and issuing visitor badges when applicable.
  • Operate a telephone system, answer all incoming inquiries, and take messages when required.
  • Utilize the organization's internal communications platform (intranet), or other computer-based systems to perform receptionist duties and communicate with employees.
  • Save and log incoming checks for family members, entities, WEI etc.
  • Maintain and stock supplies and snacks in family quarters.
  • Check in/out keys for WFF vehicles. Maintain reservations on the appropriate calendar.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience, preferably in an administrative role or office environment.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Professional, positive, and helpful attitude.

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
