The Nuclear Business Development Manager (BDM) is dedicated to fostering and enhancing commercial partnerships and client relationships. They are tasked with the strategic development and implementation of business growth initiatives, the assignment and oversight of project teams to ensure excellence in execution, and the pursuit of new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence. The Nuclear BDM provides crucial support to the business unit by building robust relationships with clients and ensuring that all projects align with the company's standards of quality and efficiency. They are responsible for maintaining a high level of expertise in market trends, customer needs, and strategic planning. Reporting directly to the Code Services VP, the Nuclear BDM plays a pivotal role in driving the company's success through innovative strategies and dedicated client service.

Education and Experience:

  • Ten (10) or more years' experience in the Testing, Inspection and Certification industry or in quality assurance-focused positions of increasing responsibility.
  • Experience in business development or client relationship management.
  • Extensive experience with public speaking to varied audience sizes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Desired:
  • Knowledge of NDE, utility outage work, and international pressure equipment codes.
  • Holds an active NB Commission, or upon hiring receive Code training (NB Prep School) and acquire AI Commission.
  • MBA, or advanced degree
