FTE: 1_, Shift: Day_, Schedule: _Exempt Position Summary The Specialty Pharmacist Clinical Education and Accreditation Lead is an exciting professional opportunity to be an integral member of MultiCare Health System's Specialty Pharmacy Team. This position develops and leads the accreditation and educational programs of the specialty pharmacy.
- You will lead MultiCare's Specialty Pharmacy Services team in successfully achieving and maintaining Specialty Pharmacy accreditation(s) (i.e. URAC and ACHC).
- You will develop and revise the Specialty Pharmacy's policies and procedures as needed to meet evolving accreditation requirements and changes
- You will ensure the Specialty Pharmacy is accreditation survey ready at all times.
- You will design the collection, interpretation, review, and reporting of the clinical and quality metrics maintained by MultiCare Specialty Pharmacy.
- You will lead MultiCare Specialty Pharmacy Quality Management Committee and conduct quarterly/annual meetings.
- You will assist in the development, implementation, and management of MultiCare Specialty Pharmacy's Clinical Oversight Committee.
- You will be responsible to manage the communication, agendas, and logistics of accreditation and regulatory surveys and serve as a liaison between surveyors and MultiCare support teams (i.e. IS&T, HP, etc.)
- You will create, deliver, and coordinate onboarding and ongoing training plans for Specialty Pharmacy team members ensuring the maintenance of required documentation.
- You will ensure the annual review and update of patient education material
- You will coordinate the development and deployment of in-service training and education for specialty pharmacy team members and clinic partners.
- You will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of a Specialty Pharmacy IPPE/APPE/residency rotation and program.
Requirements
- Licensed as a pharmacist in any US State (required)
- If not currently licensed in Washington, must receive Washington State pharmacist licensure within 120 days from date of employment (required)
- Two (2) years of specialty pharmacy accreditation experience (required)
- Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY-1 Residency (preferred)
- Board certification by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (preferred)

Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $152,256.00 - $206,003.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
