MARKETING MANAGER Campus Food Service- Oakland University- Rochester Hills, MI

Chartwells Higher Education is seeking an energetic Campus Marketing Manager on our FOOD SERVICE leadership team at Oakland University! This is a prestigious University on a beautiful campus located in Rochester, Michigan! The Marketing Manager aids in crafting and implementing a customized marketing strategy for our dining programs on campus. They will focus on revenue growth strategies, meal plan sales, improving guest/client satisfaction, and promoting Chartwells and campus brands while generating events and activities to build an outstanding student experience. This role will actively engage all guests with the use of, but not limited to social media platforms, survey tools and focus groups to determine guest satisfaction, assess opportunities for new points of service, concepts, menus and satisfaction!

Key Responsibilities:
* Hands-on marketing support for food service events and program implementation
* Guides units in the execution of marketing promotions, voluntary meal plan campaigns, catering and retail sales drivers
* Ensures units adhere to Chartwells retail and catering brand standards, including brand identity, visual merchandising, and guest experience platforms
* Develops marketing collateral and communications pieces, including brochures, newsletters, programming announcements, promotional guides, etc.
* Coordinates content needed for marketing initiatives
* Coordinates field marketing requests and activities
* Works within provided budgets and guidelines
* Works with vendors and agencies
* Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data.
* Maintains promotional inventory

Preferred Qualifications:
* BS degree in Marketing, Culinary, Hospitality or Hotel Management preferred.
* Minimum three years professional experience in marketing.
* Background or interest in hospitality/food
* Proficient in MS Office; experience with Adobe suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and CMS systems a plus.
* Multi-task in deadline-driven team environment, adjust to changing priorities
* Excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
* Experience in marketing through social media
