Responsibilities

Arcfield is looking for a systems engineer to join our team to support the alignment of the Sponsor's database data management tool with business requirements. The selected candidate will focus on data integrity, functionality, performance, reporting and analytics, and system usability and compatibility. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Review holistic requirements for the database including data, system, data entry, compliance, reporting, and business processes and SOPs
  • Recommend a data management solution that meets the Sponsor's acquisition and business needs
  • Assist with the project plan to support the implementation of the Government-approved data management solution
  • Assist with the implementation of an organization-wide execution plan addressing the full system, management, and change management lifecycles
  • Provide data extraction and reporting services in response to taskers utilizing the data management tool and inform government decision-making

Qualifications

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree (or 3/+ equivalent experience) in a relevant field with a minimum of 8 years' experience
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
  • Experience with activity and data modeling, and ETL development (data processing automation) transaction flow analysis internal control and risk analysis and modern business methods and performance measurement techniques
  • Expertise in data science and data management
  • Experience in data repository management, enhancements, administration, maintenance and system support
  • Demonstrated experience in data management and reporting including extracting trends, analysis, knowledge and insights from both structured and unstructured data
  • Able to implement solutions and critical thinking using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Experience with successful full life-cycle software development projects
  • Demonstrated knowledge in enterprise data strategy, data governance practices, data stewardship principles, data architecture principles, data standards, and metadata management best practices

Equal Pay Act

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, Arcfield invests in its employees beyond just compensation.
