Speech Pathologist Senior Req #: 0000185798 Category: Speech Therapy Status: Full-Time Shift: Day Facility: Community Medical Center Department: Speech Therapy Location: CMC Support, 99 Highway 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755 POSITION SUMMARY Administer qualitative diagnostic, habilitative and rehabilitative services related to communication, cognition and swallowing disorders for inpatients in the acute care setting. Provide counseling to patients and/or their families with regard to the diagnostic finding, the therapeutic program or further referral. Assist in updating diagnostic and/or therapeutic materials and supplies. Inservice/lecture on subjects related to speech, language or dysphagia. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Master's degree in speech language pathology with a minimum of one year of experience. New Jersey state licensure in speech/language pathology, New Jersey speech specialist certification or eligibility, certificate of clinical competence in speech/language pathology.
