As the Contracts & Procurement Intern, you will be expected to help support the Contracts & Purchasing team with several special projects, including contract closeout, data review and clean-up and supporting the basics of acquisition management.
Additional tasks assigned to review and complete compliance forms for submission in the first month of the internship.

Are able to work across the team to support contract members with specific business goals and objectives. This role will provide candidates an opportunity to assist with the development, partnering, source selection, and make or buy determinations that significantly impacts the organization.
The ideal candidate should be completing their undergraduate degree and have at least 0-1 years of experience in a professional environment. Law school students are welcome.
In addition to special projects, there will be individual specific tasks will be assigned for various agreements, department processes and tools review, as well as one-on-one job shadowing of any proposals in process. What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have):
  • The student must be a regular, full-time college student and be registered and eligible to participate in the cooperative education or internship program of the applicable university or college.
  • To be considered for co-op or internship employment, a student must have completed a minimum of four semesters or two years of study and be pursuing a degree in an applicable course of study relevant to contract and acquisition management, law, or supply chain management.
  • It is required that participating students be citizens of the United States prior to entering the program.
  • While participating in any Hexagon US Federal co-op/intern employment, it is preferred a student maintain an overall 3.0 grade point average or better
