Summary
Responsible for carrying out set plans and leading department activities such as huddles and coordination of labor during their shift to ensure all hospital areas are safe, orderly and in sanitary condition in the absence of the supervisor. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions -Cleans and disinfects patient rooms, floors, offices, conference rooms, equipment, furniture, common areas, and waiting rooms following hospital-approved infection prevention standards. -Performs high level cleaning in specialized areas such as clinical areas, surgical suites, cath lab, specialty rooms, and sterile areas without direct supervision. -Serves as a resource for external and internal department team members on environmental services matters. -Provides input on department processes and training materials, and provides suggestions for improvement. -Collaborates with multiple departments to ensure patient and department priorities are met day-to-day Education Physical Requirements
