Financial Operations Analyst II

Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for a Financial Operations Analyst II to join their Finance Department. This is a work from home position that requires residency in KY or IN.

Essential Functions:

• Serves as point of contact for maintaining and updating Strata User Security Access.
• Assists Director in providing financial accountability for SSC and Markets, budget and financial planning/forecasting. Provides operational financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting, statistical and budgetary data; preparing reports.
• Provide support and assistance on assigned projects, including assisting with providing material support for assigned projects.
• Assist with ensuring integration of financial planning tools among management teams for strategic, financial, operations, quality management and other management decision making processes and applications by facilitating the information exchange.
• Assist operating unit leaders with financial budgeting/forecasting strategy and analyzes trends and identify opportunities to align strategic direction with system financial goals.
• Collaborate with operations leadership, to ensure completion and maintenance of annual operating budgets/ rolling forecasts meeting established deadlines and system parameters.
• Assists with preparation and review reports on financial performance. Investigate, analyze and present recommendations with respect to asset, liability, cost and revenue initiatives.
• Participate in monthly operating reviews with operating unit leadership in accordance with system and/or site guidelines and offers training/education to address financial issues.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Master's degree in Finance or related field, CPA or CMA preferred.
• 2+ years experience in accounting, finance or analytics.
• Healthcare and system experience preferred.
