The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $20-$26/hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: Key Responsibilities Test Planning & Development Collaborate with the engineering team to understand product requirements and specifications Assist in creating comprehensive test plans and validation procedures Develop automated or manual test scripts to evaluate product performance Execution & Analysis Conduct functional, stress, regression, and reliability testing Collect and analyze test data; identify trends or anomalies Document test setups and processes to ensure repeatability and reliability Reporting & Documentation Create clear, concise test reports summarizing findings and recommendations Maintain thorough documentation of test results, including bugs, defects, and test logs Present findings to the engineering team, providing insights for product improvements Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Work closely with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, product) to identify and troubleshoot issues Recommend process enhancements to improve testing efficiency Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to share insights and learnings Qualifications: Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related STEM field. Familiarity with basic programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, or Java) and scripting to automate test tasks. Exposure to hardware test setups, lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters), or embedded systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in test execution and documentation. Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear documentation and cross-functional team collaboration. Willingness to work closely with senior engineers, learn from feedback, and ask questions proactively. Self-motivation and ability to follow directions while also taking initiative. Demonstrated interest in validation, quality assurance, or product reliability. Openness to developing new technical skills and learning industry-standard tools/methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
