A Milwaukee Public Schools Speech Language Pathologist refers to the professional who applies the principles, methods and procedures for the assessment, prognosis, counseling, instruction, habilitation or rehabilitation related to the development and disorders of speech, voice or language production and comprehension.

Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities Assessment - Select appropriate assessment instruments for differential diagnosis of suspected speech and/or language impairments. Determine child's speech/language weaknesses and strengths and subsequent needs for remediation based on speech/language assessment. Collect/Analyze and interpret data received from an assessment of the speech/language and hearing function of children referred to the school IEP team by parents, agencies, and school personnel. Request bilingual testing when the need arises. Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
The salary range for the Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist position starts at $59,457.73 and increases according to a set salary schedule which is based on years' of work experience as a fully licensed School Speech Language Pathologist).
